Almond Date Shake
SERVES 4
½ cup chopped pitted dates 2 tablespoon warm water 2 cups almond milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 ripe bananas 5 ice cubes 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
Soak the dates with warm water for 5 minutes to soften, drain.
In a blender, combine the dates, almond milk, vanilla, banana, ice cubes, and nutmeg. Blend until smooth and frothy, about 40 seconds.
Pour into a tall chilled glass.
