| T he arrival of mangoes in the United States was celebrated with one more event, spon sored by iFood.TV and Chef Vikas Khanna, at Purnima restaurant in Manhattan on June 28.
At the culinary event, 'Tango with Mango', Khanna served approximately 20 delicacies with mango as the main ingredient.
The spread included exotic dishes like mango soup with champagne and passion fruit sorbet; pastry puffs topped with mango powder and onion seeds; raw mango spinach fritters with chai infused mangoes; mango and chickpea salad on wheat crisps and mango mousse with cardamom and caramel tuiles.
