Khanna Sutra : A celebratory feast from the land of the Kama Sutra

Inventive dishes represent the Chef’s style.” Florence Fabricant, The New York Times

India has an ancient history of celebrating the sensuous pleasures of life with a unique and exotic point of view.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, Award-winning Chef Vikas Khanna will prepare completely original Indian dishes featuring centuries old ingredients long thought to have aphrodisiac qualities. This is a meal that is meant to stir one’s passion. Think of Kumamoto oysters infused with garlic and Arabian musk. Follow that with nutmeg and ginger crusted lamb chops served with an avocado salsa. And for dessert: Rose ice cream with sandalwood-cardamom tuiles.

These are dishes meant to evoke the rare and wonderful pleasures of life. Vikas will be glad to demonstrate any of these dishes and how to make them a joy for your better half. Many of these recipes will be featured in Vikas’ upcoming book, “The Saffron Valley”.
