Celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Rubin Museum of Art among masterworks of Himalayan art.
The evening will also serve as the opening preview of a new exhibition, The Red Book of CG Jung: Creation of a New Cosmology.
The 2009 Nine Rivers Gala honors Richard C. Blum, founder and Chairman of the American Himalayan Foundation with the Mandala Award for Humanitarian Achievement. RMA recognizes and commends the work of Mr. Blum and the AHF, as they celebrate 25 years of providing vital humanitarian support throughout the Himalayas, assisting over 25,000 people every year. Mr. Blum is Chairman of Blum Capital Partners, L.P., a private equity firm he founded in 1975 and also serves as Honorary Consul to Mongolia and Nepal.
